Every book is a journey and takes us through various roads travelled by the author while sharing her experiences. 

Knowing Indra through her book 'My life in full' was a fulfilling experience for me. It was the beginning of the year 2022 when I had picked this book to read, and it took me two-three months to complete. I like remembering the dates, so ya I'd finished this one on April 30,2022 😊.  whenever I reflect and ask myself, what excited me about her that I thought to read this book; is her persona, the charm she carries in her personality with humility in her intent, words, and action. 

It's not just through this book that I was knowing about her life. My simultaneous journey on watching her tens of interviews talking about her success to the larger audience and how she is able to attain what she has attained made me come closer to this lovely human. 

It's been 2 months now, when I have completed this book. But her words still echo in my ear and surroundings as if I have a real mentor guiding me where I need help and understanding. That's the beauty of reading books. You can connect with any inspiration without having to meet them in person.

 Some of her very popular stories, such as leaving the crown at the garage, her experience of not having the apt attire for the interview etc. makes me smile and feel as she is very much like us. Her thoughts, concerns and desires resonate with us.

 There is something that truly inspires me about her are her words ‘do your very very very best where you are at the moment'.  Even if you aspire to join a different organization or a different role. Let this aspiration be bundled with enough of action at your current work that no one can leave it unnoticed. She beautifully says that 'put your head, heart and hand to the work that you are doing'. Things will happen on its own and you will be picked up for the responsibility that you truly deserve. 

Her vision for PepsiCo ' Performance with Purpose' has left a legacy and aspiration for youths and organizations. This holds good not only for the companies we work for but to our own daily activities by adding depth to our intent and action in whatever we do. 

She is so open to share about those personal letters by her little daughter 'Mumma please please please please please please please...come home'. Her struggles in coping up with personal and professional balance, her thrive to give her all at the workplace, her conviction on encouraging women about the power of purse and gaining financial freedom is the real ask of us as ladies today. this relates to us so well and helps us set our goals for life, family, and career. 

The stories and the inspiration from Indra are everlasting for me as a reader and here I would conclude by jotting down those specific points that are key take-aways for me forever.
